ForcesTM Introduces New, Third Gameplay Style
In this just announced gameplay style, players will be equipping their custom Hero
Character with one of a variety of powerful unique gadgets called Wispons. Wispons are an evolution of the
Color Powers from Sonic Colors and double as both offensive abilities and as a way to platform through levels quickly.
Along with the Wispon, the Hero Character will have a grappling hook they can utilize to quickly traverse across
zones. Players can also customize the Hero Character’s looks by choosing and swapping between hundreds of accessories
and outfit options to change the character’s appearance as they play through the game.
There are seven base
animal types that players can select from, each with varying special abilities:
- Wolf
– Automatically draws in rings when near them
- Rabbit - Has longer invincible
time after receiving damage
- Cat - Keeps one ring after being hit
- Dog - Restarts with five rings after the player dies
- Bear
– Blows away enemies with a homing attack
- Bird - Flies high with double
jump abilities
- Hedgehog - Collects rings when getting damaged
No matter what Hero the player chooses to create, it will be featured throughout the entire game. In a first
for the Sonic franchise, a character the player creates will be a key part of the story, appearing not only in cut scenes,
but by being a crucial element in helping Sonic reclaim the world from Eggman’s domination.

Riders of Icarus. As the game moves toward commercial launch, the Corruption of Light content update delivers all-new zones to the Kingdom of Hakanas along with
dangerous new dungeons and over 30 familiars to fight, capture and tame.
Riders have access to two new zones in
Corruption of Light, Ellora Sanctuary and Windhome Canyon, as they are tasked with helping the light elves of Ellora
Sanctuary reclaim the Demonic Stone from the Chaos Legion before the God of Ruin is summoned. Along with an increased level
cap of 55 and two new field bosses to tackle, players can further upgrade their characters with all new gear sets from the

Developed by the creators of the groundbreaking Descent series, Overload features fast-paced combat action in a fully-3D
world. Face off against menacing robot enemies in the single-player story mode or in the survival Challenge Mode.
The initial Early Access release features four Challenge Mode levels, a sample single-player level, 12 explosive weapons,
and ten terrifying robot enemies. Updated releases will follow every 2-4 weeks. The full game is scheduled to
be completed later this year and will also be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The full game will feature a
15-level single-player story mode, with more weapons, robots, and bosses. A multiplayer expansion is expected to be
released 4-6 months later and will be provided free to all purchasers of the single-player game.
Overload is in
development by Revival Productions, which is owned by Mike Kulas and Matt Toschlog, the founders of Descent developer Parallax
Software. “Matt and I have talked for years about doing an updated 6DOF game,” said Mike Kulas. “The
pieces fell in place a couple years ago and we started on Overload.” Matt Toschlog added, “It’s
been great working with old friends and colleagues on a project that’s so close to our hearts.”
Overload
is being designed by renowned indie developer Luke Schneider, who was the lead level designer on Descent 3 before founding
Radiangames (Inferno 2, Super Crossfighter, Slydris). Said Mr. Schneider, “I got into game development because
of Descent, so it’s been awesome to create a new 6DOF game for the 21st century.”
Revival hopes to
make an announcement soon on a DRM-free option for early release.

— March 10, 2017 — Today, SEGA released footage of a new Act, as well as revealing a brand new boss,
that will be featured in the upcoming classic 2D platformer Sonic Mania. Green Hill Zone Act 2 presents an all-new
area exclusive to Sonic Mania, expanding upon the tropical setting of Act 1, now with new mechanics, obstacles, and
secrets to uncover. You like fire, right? Now you can use it to burn log bridges and collect rings and power-ups! Green Hill
Zone Act 2’s boss is also notably different from the original, but we won’t be spoiling that yet.
Also
revealed today is the first in a series of new bosses, called the “Hard-Boiled Heavies”. These unique foes are
part of Eggman’s new arsenal, each equipped with special skills designed to make a blue hedgehog’s life much harder.
The first of these, “Heavy Gunner”, will appear at the end of the Hollywood-inspired Studiopolis Act 1,
and is a large, decorated robot who can take to the sky with his helicopter. Heavy Gunner is armed with a powerful rocket
launcher that he uses to discourage “speeding”. (Sources from Studiopolis confirm this method is, generally, highly
effective.)
Sonic Mania is the ultimate celebration of past and future, blending Genesis-era Sonic platforming
with New Zones, Powerful Bosses, and 3 Playable Characters, all presented at a gorgeous 60 FPS. In the span of 25 years, Sonic
has collected countless rings across various Zones, and Sonic Mania revisits what it was that first made Sonic great,
all while building upon that foundation and giving old and new fans alike an experience that will leave them smiling.
Sonic Mania is developed by SEGA of America in collaboration with Christian Whitehead, PagodaWest Games, and Headcannon.
It will be digitally available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2017.

The Gameplay
In Sairento, you play
