06/28/2013 - Gun Monkeys Launches on Steam
GUN MONKEYS, the unique procedurally-generated multiplayer monkey deathmatch shooter from BAFTA-winning Size Five Games launches on Steam.

“Gun Monkeys is kind of an experiment into short, sharp jabs of intense multiplayer combat. It’s a procedurally-generated, physics-based, 1-on-1, online platform shooter. All lovingly voiced by British comedy legend, The Actor Kevin Eldon. There aren’t many games like that kicking around.”

“I’m delighted with how well the game has been received by the Beta testers – I don’t think any of them knew quite what they were letting themselves in for, but they seem to have come away pleasantly surprised.”

“I’m declaring Gun Monkeys launched in an ultra-special “Gamma” phase of development: technically it’s Gold, it works beautifully, but please don’t shout at me just yet if there are a few teething problems. Frankly, if the likes of EA and Blizzard can’t launch an online game without any server hitches whatsoever, I stand no fucking chance,” swore indie developer Dan Marshall, casually, in a press release, like it’s no big deal or anything.

In GUN MONKEYS, players take charge of a modern-day power company. In the distant future, a catastrophic experiment into Perpetual Energy obliterates all human life, leaving the world choc-full of free-for-the-taking energy. Your job is to send a legion of pleasingly-expendable monkeys forwards in time to collect Power Cubes and return them to present-day, all from the comfort of your PC. Sadly, it looks like one or two other entrepreneurs have had the exact same idea...

GUN MONKEYS is available on PC and Mac for just $10 (or two copies for $15) with a launch offer of 10% off! A Linux build will hopefully follow shortly.
