04/07/2016 - Hanako Games announces A Little Lily PrincessHanako Games announces
A Little Lily Princess Hanako Games, developers
of titles such as Black Closet and Long Live the Queen, is pleased to announce the upcoming publication of a new visual novel:
A Little Lily Princess.
Developed under the Hanabira label, this is a light yuri adaptation of the classic British
novel A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett, which has previously been adapted into Hollywood movies and even
an anime series: A Little Princess Sara.
Sara Crewe is the young and pampered daughter of a wealthy British
officer stationed in India. As was traditional for her class and time period, she is sent back alone to England to attend
boarding school, arriving at Miss Minchin's Select Seminary for Girls. There she must learn English customs to fit in and
make friends with her classmates. Sara relies on her love of books and fairy tales to give her strength and help her deal
with the injustices she encounters. But when tragedy strikes, will beautiful dreams and the love of her friends be enough
to see her through?
This is a yuri game, focusing on the loving relationships between girls. "It's remarkable
how much of this content exists in the original text," says Georgina Bensley, director of Hanako Games. "Modern
adaptations usually tone it down, removing all the kissing and hugging and declarations of love. We're simply pushing the
balance in the opposite direction, allowing romantic friendships to blossom into romance."
A Little
Lily Princess features six possible relationships for Sara, ranging from a more familial bond to passionate kisses and promises.
The player must manage Sara's schedule and build her resources in order to unlock new scenes with all the available characters.
All scenes remain age-appropriate for the young teenage students of Miss Minchin's.

04/05/4016 - Black Desert Online Sells 400K in First MonthBlack Desert Online Sells
400,000 Copies in its First Month Amsterdam,
The Netherlands - April 5, 2016 - Daum Games today announced that Black Desert Online has sold 400.000 copies in
its first month on the European and North American markets. Black Desert Online is expected to become one of Korea's most
successful games in the West as it is drawing exceptionally favorable early responses with its new player base.
"Considering
the upward trend, I expect that the game will achieve over one million sales this year. What’s impressive is these figures
far exceed those in the domestic market," Daum Games Europe CEO Min Kim said in an interview in Seoul, last Wednesday.
Daum Games attributes much of the success to adopting a premium business model for Western audiences as opposed to
the free-to-play model used in Korea. After purchasing the game once, players have access to all content updates for free
as they become available. Daum Games is planning to catch up on the Korean service by delivering near-monthly content updates
for European and North American players to enjoy.
Furthermore, Black Desert Online’s cash shop is also performing
extremely well. "A game with a buy-to-play business model normally has a much lower conversion rate for paid in-game
items compared to free-to-play games," explains Kim. "But Black Desert Online is recording a much higher pay ratio
than the average 11 percent normally seen in free-to-play games."
Black Desert Online now boasts an average
of 100.000 concurrent users.
Daum Games Europe B.V. is a leading online games publisher. Founded in 2015, Daum
Games is currently focussed on bringing the highly anticipated MMORPG Black Desert Online to North American and European markets.
Daum Games Europe is headquartered in Amstelveen, The Netherlands.

04/04/2016 - Gumball Drift for HTC Vive Launch Announcement!Gumball Drift for HTC Vive Launch Announcement!
Austin-based VR
studio Ghost Machine has announced that their latest game title, "Gumball Drift" will be available for the
HTC Vive VR platform at this weeks' launch on April 5.
The game available tomorrow from the
digital download service steam and the studio webpage features a miniature racing league that can be played seated, or at room
scale on the HTC Vive, will be the first official release from the studio on the new VR platform.
"I'm
really excited that we are able to be part of such a well orchestrated and amazing launch of such a ground breaking product
as the HTC/Valve Vive." commented Neal Nellans, CEO of Ghost Machine. "It's been a pleasure to work with the great
partners at HTC and Valve, and we are looking forward building many more games for their platform.", added Nellans.
The game, which features both single player and multiplayer modes, allows players to control race cars in a miniature
environment against one another. Using this unique perspective, Ghost Machine was able to eliminate all of the motion sickness
usually associated with Virtual Reality. "With 10 different racing environments and 3 different difficulties, I expect
players to be immersed in the game for longer periods of time and comfort was a primary focus.", Nellans mentioned.
HTC Vive is an upcoming virtual reality headset being developed by HTC and Valve Corporation.
This headset is designed to utilize "room scale" technology to turn a room into 3D space via sensors, with the virtual
world allowing the user to navigate naturally, with the ability to walk around and use motion tracked handheld controllers
to vividly manipulate objects, interact with precision, communicate and experience immersive environments
