London, England - July 16th 2012. At
a packed event in London, a panel of games journalism luminaries unveiled the new Games Journalism Prize. The three prizes
are designed to find the best journalism and writing about video games, are judged by journalists and are non-profit and non-commercial.

The prizes are open to all English language articles
published during 2012 and the winners will be announced on February 1st 2013. Shortlisted nominees will be revealed throughout
the year. The three prize categories are:
