12/13/2013 - Castle Raid 2 New Allies comes to Android and iOS
Castle Raid 2: New Alliances

Stockholm based independent gaming studio Arcticmill announces today the release of the much anticipated sequel to the popular iOS game Castle Raid.

Have you grown weary of the maze of ordinary single player mobile games out there? Wish you had that awesome game you could play by yourself or head 2 head with your friends and family, on the same device?

Do you get that cozy, exciting and pleasantly chilling feeling when you think about orcs and goblins, wise wizards and noble knights; the fascinating world of fantasy?
Are you afraid of dragons? Well are you?..

If you answered yes to these questions you are one of us and we would like to welcome you to the magnificent world of Castle Raid 2.

Set in medieval times, your task is to command an army to raid the enemy’s castle, while at the same time defending your own. Lose yourself in raging head 2 head battles, or take on the bloodthirsty Reavers on the snow covered fields of the Frozen Plains in the epic single player campaign.

Castle Raid 2 New alliances, introduces many new features and heaps of improvements to the Castle Raid concept. We’re giving you two new worlds with tons of new battlegrounds, a new race, many new and upgradeable unit types, trialing challenges, and many other things.

Arcticmill is an indie game studio based in Stockholm, the gaming capital of Sweden. After over a year’s worth of development, this two man show is
now proud to be able to chalk up yet another game on the board, making it the fifth in line.

Castle Raid 2 is available on the iOS App Store and Google Play at $2.99 (universal) at Friday the 13th of December. That’s right, we’re releasing on Friday the 13th.

12/12/2013 - Rising Empires Christmas Sale
Rising Empires Christmas Sale!

To celebrate the festive season and our major update of Rising Empires we're cutting the price of Rising Empires Premium by 40%. For the next two weeks, Rising Empires Premium will be $1.99 only (standard price $3.49). The update on December 12th includes new graphics and features like road building.

The Rivers and roads update allows players to connect their cities with roads, providing faster movement for footmen and cavalry. Rivers, on the other hand, are hard to cross but give a large boost to the food output of the sectors where they flow. This makes the placement of cities even more strategically important. Another improvement is new terrain and army graphics that make the map more intuitive.

"The Rivers and roads update marks an important turning point in the Rising Empires universe. All important features have now been implemented and we can start working on adding an even higher degree of flexibility for the player to build the empire he or she wants," say the developers.

Rising Empires is a new 4x strategy game available from Google Play and other app stores. In its recent review, Hardcore Droid gave it 4.8 out of the maximum 5 and concluded 'You’ll be hard pressed to find a mobile game that tackles the subgenre with greater success.’ Rising Empires was developed by the independent Swedish studio Hellhound Interactive owned by the two brothers Johan and Peter Norberg. We strive to create smart phone games which give a deeper gaming experience.

12/09/2013 - Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag Multiplayer DLC available Tuesday
ASSASSIN’S CREED® IV BLACK FLAGTM MULTIPLAYER DLC, BLACKBEARD’S WRATH, AVAILABLE TUESDAY

First DLC pack brings three new lethal characters, the infamous Blackbeard, the deadly Orchid and the mystical Jaguar

London, UK — December 9, 2013 —
Today Ubisoft® announced that the first DLC for Assassin’s Creed® IV Black Flag™ multiplayer, Blackbeard’s Wrath, is available from Wednesday for download on PlayStation Network for the PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system and the PlayStation® 3 computer entertainment system and from Tuesday on Xbox LIVE for Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Xbox® 360, computer entertainment system, and PC.

Three new characters join the hunt, Blackbeard, the Jaguar and The Orchid, each character bringing their unique skill set to battle for the title of best assassin.

Blackbeard, wielding a sword and a short temper is not to be trifled with. His reputation as a feared pirate is justly received and his preferred kill moves include using his tremendous strength to throw his targets off balance and then quickly finishing them with one clean strike.

The Orchid, a Templar-friendly deadly assassin grew up in China, serving as a military advisor in the Quing dynasty where she honed her murderous skills. She executes opponents swiftly and gracefully with her katana, an extension of her mind and body.

The Jaguar, Cuali, an Aztec warrior from Mexico, took to the sea to fight against the Spanish conquest of Central America. A fighter, he survived the destruction of his community and joined forces with a growing contingency of native Templars who sought renewed peace and order. Driven by a mystical force, The Jaguar fights like his namesake, striking swiftly and quietly with his preferred weapon, a discreet axe.

All three characters are available in Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag multiplayer starting Tuesday, where they will join the hunt for survival.

For players interested in the Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Season Pass, it’s available now and includes Freedom Cry – a nine mission self-contained story featuring Edward Kenway’s first mate Adewale, the exclusive Kraken Ship Pack, additional single-player missions, weapons, skins and collectibles, as well as this multiplayer DLC and upcoming new characters to the multiplayer experience.
