07/01/2011- 24 Hour Halo Marathon for Charity
TrueAchievements.com Presents The Ultrafun: Halo Forever! (For a day)

TrueAchievements is proud to announce that we are holding The Ultrafun: Halo Forever! (For a day) with the goal of raising money for Child's Play.

We have staffers broken up into two teams, Red & Blue, who will be playing the campaigns of Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo: Reach on Legendary in 4-player Co-Op. They will be kicking off at 1:00 PM GMT (8:00 AM EST) on July 2nd (this Saturday) and not stopping for 24 straight hours.

As we raise money and pass certain milestones, the teams will back out to the main menu add a SKULL, and resume their playthrough with the new skull challenges implemented. Ergo, the more you donate, the more skulls will be added and the more "fun" this challenge will be! Here are the donation milestones:

• IWHBYD Skull - $100
• Grunt Birthday Skull - $150
• Cowbell Skull - $250
• Catch Skull - $500
• Fog Skull - $1,000
• Tough Luck Skull - $2,500
• Famine Skull - $4,000
• Thunderstorm Skull - $6,500
• Tilt Skull - $10,000
• Black Eye Skull - $14,000
• Mythic Skull - $20,000

It has also been hinted that, if we pass $50,000, the teams will commit to playing at least 30 straight hours... or until they pass out.

In the event that the teams SOMEHOW manage to beat the campaigns of all three games before the 24 hours elapses, they will move over to Halo: Reach multiplayer and take on members of the community in "Big Team Battle" with all eight staffers facing off against eight community members at a time.

If you'd like to add your voice to the Twitter/Ultrafun movement, be sure to use the hashtag: #theultrafun

Finally, and best of all, we will be streaming live on USTREAM as well as capturing video and posting highlights next week. Donations for the event are now open. Donations are being taken via the event’s ChipIn Page. NOTE: ChipIn works with PayPal accounts.

We realize that times are tough, and money is tight right now, but remember that every dollar you donate goes to buying games for children in hospitals... children who need that mental distraction and brief respite from illnesses that sometimes don't have a cure. So, please, if you can, give generously.

06/30/2011 - Stick 'Em Up 2 Now Available on Xbox Live
STICK 'EM UP 2: PAPER ADVENTURES

Now available on Xbox LIVE Indie Games

The sequel to last year's "Stick 'Em Up" features the same run'n'gun/platforming blend of gameplay as it's predecessor, but now with a completely revamped visual style that makes the levels look like hand-made paper and card collages.

The signature vehicles from the first game return, now with vastly improved physics and controls, and the arsenal of weapons has been expanded to fit the new level themes with swords, shurikens, and spears joining the traditional assault rifle and rocket launcher. 2-4 player co-op is still available, of course, as are VS and team VS deathmatch modes.

Stick 'Em Up 2 is available now on Xbox LIVE Indie Games for the introductory price of 240 Microsoft Points ($3.00 / 2,79 € / £2.04). A significant content update including new levels is planned for later in the summer. The price will be increasing to 400 Microsoft Points, but players who buy at the current price will get the update for no additional cost.
