Letchworth, UK – 10/06/2011  Emily the Strange “Strangerous” for Nintendo DS/DSi is a puzzle and adventure story based around Emily the Strange and her missing kittens spanning 6 chapters and over 60 puzzles! Emily the Strange Strangerous” is set to expand the range of games for girls in the puzzle/adventure game genre on Nintendo DS/DSi by offering female gamers the unique opportunity to play through over 50+ hours of puzzles and riddles while navigating the world of Emily. Emily the Strange has been an iconic character since the early 1990's and has become a beloved counterculture icon all around the world. In her earliest years, she was a quiet but sharp-witted stranger, slinging philosophy and cultural observations in a series of hand-screened t-shirts and stickers. ESA NEWS: E3 2011 PROPELS VIDEO GAMES TO CENTER STAGE

Los Angeles, CA – June 9, 2011 – 46,800 video game industry professionals, investor analysts, and retailers attended E3 2011, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) announced today. The leading global computer and video game trade show closed after more than 200 exhibitors unveiled the latest interactive entertainment hardware and software that will hit store shelves this holiday season. ESA also revealed that E3 2012 will occur June 5-7, 2012, in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Convention Center. E3 2011 contributed more than an estimated $25 million in revenue to the city of Los Angeles.

"This year's E3 propelled video games to the pinnacle of the entertainment world. The industry's innovation, creativity, and excitement combined to show the world the ultimate entertainment experience," said Michael D. Gallagher, president and CEO of the ESA, the trade association that represents U.S. computer and video game publishers and owns E3. "The positive news generated by the event reached all parts of the world, and we are looking forward to building on this great momentum in 2012."

"The event showcased the best of our craft and the outstanding work of the industry's developers. E3, once again, proved that video games are a dominant force in entertainment and are changing the way we live, work, and play."

The Atari Flashback 3 made a surprise appearance at the 2011 E3 Expo. The highly anticipated 3rd revision of the popular Atari plug and play console was being showcased by CreativeMindInteractive.

Atari_Flashback_3_Box.jpg

The Atari Flashback 3 features 60 built in classic Atari 2600 games. However the Flashback 3 also has micro SD support, giving users the ability to play virtually every game in the 2600 catalog. This includes homebrew titles and the recent Halo 2600

Another cool feature is saving and loading games, a feature not found on classic Atari consoles. The console actually allows player to save any game and return to play at a later date.

UPDATE: After returning to the Creative Mind Interactive booth we learned that SD Card support has been removed from the Flashback 3. It also appears the box was an early test shot, and any description provided should not be considered final.
