HOLLYWOOD, CA June 3rd, 2011 – They are doing it again! The madmen at digthatbox.com are proud to announce the 2011 Arcade Token Give-Away. Representatives of the site will be giving away 3,000 beautifully crafted, custom made silver arcade tokens at the upcoming 2011 E3 Expo™ in Los Angeles, CA.

Last year digthatbox.com distributed 5,000 custom made arcade tokens at the 2010 E3 Expo™. After the massive success last year’s give-away the site has decided to do it again, only this time the site is giving away limited edition silver arcade tokens. The extremely high quality nickel plated arcade tokens are limited to a run of 3,000. These finely crafted coins are made from the highest quality materials. Due to increased production costs the tokens are limited to a run of 3,000 and will be available only on a first come, first served basis.

Site founder E. Thomas, also known as “Mr. E3,” says:  “I had an incredible time giving away tokens to my fellow E3 attendees. It was an amazing experience. People have often asked me why I would do something like this?  My response is always the same. Why not? E3 is like a gigantic party. And I just want to make sure everyone is having as much fun as I am. Besides in recent years companies have really cut down on the number of freebies they give away at the show.  That’s another reason why I decided to create these tokens. I wanted to give everyone a souvenir. They are a celebration of gaming and of the E3 Expo. And if you can’t make it to the show I’ll send you one in the mail, no matter where you live in the World.*” (*while supplies last)

This beautiful and unique collector’s item was created by artist Christian George-Morehouse in co-operation with Osborne Coinage®. These freshly minted nickel plated tokens shine with a beautiful silver luster. The coin layout is an homage to the famous Chuck E. Cheese® token. The center of the design features the classic Space Invader logo, known worldwide as the universal symbol of video games.  The text around the logo reads “Dig That Box.com Can You Dig It?”

DigThatBox.com will also be giving away tokens to its loyal online readers. Additional details for the online give-away will be released during the 2011 E3 Expo™, which runs from June 7th to June 9th. Tokens will also be available at the Los Angeles Anime Expo and the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con. Stay tuned for additional details.
